Who I am: I am an innocent man who has been held hostage in prison for almost (4) decades and I may die in prison unless I don’t plead guilty for a crime that I did not commit.
My imprisonment and all the injustice that I am living with today does not define who I am. I am not letting this place stop me from doing what I feel is right. I help my community around me in here and I help the community out there.
What am I doing: Although I’m not serving Life Without Parole, I’ve been an Inside Organizer for FUEL for 4 years. I donate to others out there in need. I help those around me.
I am not going to wait until I get out to do something positive! While I’m alive, I can make a difference, waiting for tomorrow is just a cheap excuse.
If I get out of this place or if I don’t get out, that’s not going to change who I am! After almost (4) decades in prison I am still the kind and helpful person that my parents help me to be and raise me to be. Anyone can see if a TREE is good by the fruit that it bears and my fruit has always been good.
